I booked via BudgetAir for a Ryanair flight to Malaga. Ryanair cancelled the flight and offered a full refund. This took a month to process and nothing ever arrived into my bank. Upon calling Ryanair I discover that they have refunded the full amount to BudgetAir. BudgetAir are refusing to refund anything at all.

I called BudgetAir and they told me that they were aware of my case and assured me not to worry and they are already looking into it. NEVER TRUST BUDGET AIR! Following on from my recent review, American Airline has confirmed they have refunded Budget Air my flight cost since 25/6/20 and yet BudgetAir have said up to yesterday that they are still waiting for this refund to refund me! I showed up day off scrambling and had to pay top dollar to still find a flight that night. >:(They have no customer service dept. EDIT: budgetair has just responded "our emergency line can get quite busy at times" (yeah, sorry for calling the emergency line in an emergency, I know, very silly of me right!) and "we value customer feedback such as this" (what I would value is getting fair compensation!) I spent 9 months emailing them back and forth re: a refund, and got the runaround of "That's up to Westjet" which is inaccurate. When I asked about a credit they either didn't email me back or ignored the question in their response. The only number to call re: my flight was in the UK. Budget Air however want to charge an 'admin fee' of £55 per person per flight to change the flights.

I had also booked 3 flights through Budget Air for the summer of 2020 which got cancelled because of Covid19. The airline said that I could receive the money back, but it had to go through Budget Air since they were the booking agency. Budget Air claims that they requested for a refund, which was always denied by the airlines.
